Introduction to Z-Edge

“My name is Anil. Like any other human, I too was confused at various crossroads of life and didn’t know which turns to take. And for every such crossroad, I took the aid of Renu ma’am. 

I am a self-established businessman. It took me a lot to reach where I am today and I largely dedicate my success and well-being to Renu ma’am. From family to business decisions she helped me make the right call at the right time. However, I was introduced to Renu ma’am when my family was almost on the verge of separation. 

Family issues

Our family comprises of two brothers and their families. I always thought that my family was blessed with togetherness until one day,  my younger brother demanded to settle away and started picking up fights on petty issues. My family was on the verge of separation and I couldn’t bear it. Not knowing what to do, I decided to take up family counseling. At that time, Z-Edge was the only counseling center that offered family counseling.

I at once booked an appointment with Renu ma’am and asked her to help me with the separation of my family. It took us several sessions. Few of which were with my younger brother and a few with all of us involved in it. It took us a while to understand what was right for us. But ultimately, my brother understood that separation is not the solution to a problem. It was because of Z-edge that we as a family understood what was best for us. This incident laid a strong belief in Renu ma’am and Z-edge. I took advice from her on every important event of my life.

Another crossroad

One such event was when my daughter was going through a difficult time in her marriage. She was an independent woman and got married to a man of my choice. Everything was fine until one day she called me to tell me that nothing was right with her. The family did not allow her to work or do anything solo. She was vested upon all the household responsibilities. I had raised my daughter into a strong and independent woman and this household had made her dependent. Finding myself in an absolute dilemma, I decided to take advice from Renu ma’am. She requested to meet my daughter first.

Finding solution

 Post a few sessions with my daughter, she asked her to come together with her husband. She tried to explain her point to Nisha’s husband but he seemed to have his own set of principles. Finally, Renu ma’am called me and Nisha for a separate session. In it, Renu ma’am said, “Anil you raised your daughter to lead a strong and independent life. However, she is living quite the opposite. I tried instilling some sense in her husband but he seems to have his own set of principles. And so, I would request you to free your daughter from this difficult relationship.” I was quite shocked to hear something his extreme but I knew it was the right thing to do. Today my daughter is excelling in her career and is married to a man who respects her. 

The life-changing conversation

All of these are incidents where Renu ma’am helped me take a crucial decision. However, there was one such time, when she literally saved my life by answering a question. It was literally a conversation that changed my life. I have been a heart patient since I was 52. Since then my health has always suffered in one way or the other. However, my health deteriorated majorly when I was 55.  There were a number of complications and the doctors too were in dilemma. For my condition, they had suggested two procedures. One that was a one-time procedure but had 5% chances of survival and another which was periodic but had 10% chances of survival. My family did not know what to do. They just wanted me to be fit and fine. 

Taking the call 

I remember dropping a text on Renu ma’am’s window with the help of my son. I had described my entire situation and had asked her opinion on the situation. It did not take her a minute’s time to answer my question. She said, “ If you are meant to die, even a 99% sure procedure can take your life. Why risk your life every month with the 10% chance. Take the procedure with a 5% chance, if you are meant to fight it, you will.” Reading this, there was an instant ray of hope amongst my entire family. I went for the procedure with a 5% chance and it was undertaken successfully. I was back happy and healthy. My entire family was delighted to see me back. 

All of this was possible only because of Renu ma’am. I wonder what I would have done if I hadn’t met her in the first place. Not just me, my entire family is grateful to her and he team.
